Job Description

- Learn alongside experienced Early Childhood Professionals.

- Complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
n
- Build nurturing, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.

- Support the implementation of engaging learning experiences based on children's interests.
n
- Assist with daily routines while maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment.
n
- Work collaboratively within a large professional team.
n
- Contribute to maintaining our Exceeding National Quality Standard practices.

- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).

- Ability to undertake a full time traineeship.

- Current references.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours when working with children and the ability to uphold the service's Code of Conduct and Child Safe practices.

- Capacity to identify, respond to and report concerns relating to child safety, wellbeing or risk of harm.
n
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning in child protection, child safe practices and safeguarding responsibilities.
n
- Strong values aligned with respectful relationships, teamwork, professionalism and ethical practice.
