A well-established and highly respected construction and insurance builder based in Brisbane's northern corridor is continuing to expand due to ongoing growth and a strong pipeline of secured work. With a major focus across the commercial sector, this opportunity is ideal for an experienced Estimator who has successfully delivered tenders within councils, aged care, insurance rectification, and commercial construction projects.

Description

Working closely with senior leadership and operations teams, you will play a key role within the commercial division. This role requires a commercially minded Estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being heavily involved from tender through to project handover.

- Identify and source key tender opportunities aligned with business strategy
n
- Monitor tender portals and submit EOIs
n
- Prepare and oversee detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
n
- Develop pricing strategies including margin and risk analysis
n
- Prepare tender reports, forecasts, exclusions, and clarifications
n
- Lead commercial negotiations through to project award
n
- Conduct site inspections and project assessments
n
- Coordinate with safety teams to ensure compliance requirements are met
n
- Lead seamless handovers to operations teams and provide ongoing post-award support including variations
n
- Mentor and review team outputs, driving continuous improvement
n

Profile

n

n
- Minimum over 5 years' experience in construction estimating
n
- Strong background within commercial construction and/or insurance building
n
- Experience pricing council, aged care,



or government-related projects highly regarded
n
- Proven ability to deliver compliant and successful tenders
n
- Strong experience with trade pricing, subcontractor comparison, and procurement engagement
n
- Excellent written communication and proposal preparation skills
n
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation ability
n
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
n
