Impact Carbon is a contracting company providing dredging and dewatering services to the water and wastewater industry. We are looking for a mechanically minded and professional Dredge/Centrifuge Operator to join our team.

- Be willing to learn current skills (training provided)
n
- Hold Australian citizenship or valid work rights in Australia

To be successful you will ideally have the following;
n
n
- Strong problem-solving ability
n
- Highly motivated and ability to prioritise tasks
n
- Maintenance and skilled in mechanical equipment
n
- Operation of heavy machinery (Loaders / excavators / Dredges etc)
n
- Current Confined Space ticket
n
- Immunisations relevant to working in the waste water industry
n
n
Duties and Responsibilities will include;
n
n
- Day to day operations of Impact Carbon sites throughout Australia
n
- Assist with ongoing dredging and de-sludging operations including: dredge operation, dewatering process operation and mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment.
n
- Working with the customer and with other staff to ensure the requirements of the customer are met and exceeded.
n
- Conducting all work professionally and in-line with a zero-harm philosophy.
n
- Prompt and accurate completion of production/delivery paperwork, pre-starts, timesheets etc
n
- Ensuring the clean and tidy condition of equipment
n
n
We are interested in all age groups. You must be available for an immediate start. You must be able to travel within Australia to other sites. If you are a genuine hands on practical person, hardworking and are looking for an exciting and challenging position where your skills will be highly valued.
