We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join our Shepparton Operations team on a 6-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover.

n

About the Role:

n

Reporting to the Quality & Compliance Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining the quality and compliance of our manufacturing operations.

n

Working closely with Operations and Supply Chain, you'll support product quality throughout the manufacturing process while ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.

n

This is a diverse, hands-on role where you'll be involved in batch release, investigations, supplier quality, quality systems and continuous improvement.

n

You will be responsible for:

n

n
- Supporting Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across the Shepparton manufacturing site
n
- Reviewing and releasing incoming materials and finished products
n
- Performing GMP batch review and product release
n
- Investigating deviations, non-conformances, customer complaints and CAPAs
n
- Supporting supplier quality management activities
n
- Maintaining quality documentation and controlled procedures
n
- Participating in internal and external audits
n
- Supporting Product Quality Reviews and Quality Management Reviews
n




- Assisting with change control and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Working closely with Operations to maintain GMP compliance across manufacturing and warehousing activities
n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- Experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within a GMP environment
n
- Experience in pharmaceuticals, medicinal cannabis, medical devices, food manufacturing or another regulated industry
n
- Sound understanding of GMP principles and quality systems
n
- Experience investigating deviations, CAPAs and change controls
n
- Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
n
- The ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks
n
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
n
