I'm partnering with a fast-growing Melbourne SaaS business that's looking to hire a Product Designer to help shape the visual quality, consistency and user experience across its product.

This is an opportunity to become the custodian of a mature design system, working closely with Product and Engineering to elevate the quality, consistency and polish of a platform used by thousands of customers. What you'll be doing

- Own and evolve the product design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.
n
- Create polished, high-quality user interfaces with a strong focus on visual craft and usability.
n
- Partner closely with Product Designers, Product Managers and Front-End Engineers to maintain design quality across multiple product areas.
n
- Design intuitive user experiences for a complex B2B SaaS platform.
n
- Work closely with engineering throughout implementation to ensure designs are delivered to a high standard.
n
- Contribute to user research and use customer insights to refine and improve the product.
n
- Leverage AI tools to improve your workflow and accelerate design exploration.

About you
n
n
- 5+ years' experience designing digital products within a SaaS or B2B workplace.
n
- Outstanding UX/UI and visual design skills, supported by a strong portfolio of shipped products.
n
- Experience building, maintaining or evolving scalable design systems in Figma.
n
- A strong eye for typography, layout, interaction design and visual consistency.
n
- Experience partnering closely with front-end engineers and a good understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles.
n
- Confidence working across multiple product teams while maintaining a consistent user experience.
n
- Experience using AI tools as part of your design workflow.
