About the Role

n

Primary responsibilities include:

n

n
- Teaching and unit coordination in agreed subject areas including managing and assessment of the units.
n
- Providing a quality education, care and support to the students.
n
- Ensuring the activities of the School are operated effectively and efficiently,
n
- Producing research and scholarship that informs learning and teaching, and curriculum innovation and development.
n
- Providing administrative support to the Head of School, Course Coordinators, and other academic staff.
n
- Building the profile and reputation of Excelsia with stakeholders, the community and potential students.
n

Selection Criteria

n

Qualifications and Qualified Standing:

n

n
- Hold a PhD or a postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education.
n
- Teaching experience and ECT qualification would be an advantage.
n
- Committed Christian, involved in a local congregation.
n
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at a tertiary level, learning, scholarship and research.
n
- Teaching experience in Early Childhood sector would be an advantage.
n




- Demonstrated expertise in ECEC and understanding of current and emerging trends in Australian Education.
n
- Demonstrated ability to teach online and face to face.
n
- Awareness of and sensitivity to cultural diversity and ability to work with students, staff, and administrators cooperatively.
n
