Estelle' is seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry cook to join our team in Northcote, VIC as a full time employyee. As a Pastry cook, you will be responsible for preparing desserts, petit four and baking elements involved in the kitchen. What you'll be doing

n

Prepare and bake a range of pastries, desserts and baked goods according to recipes and presentations standards

n

Assist in the production of snacks and baked items on the menu

n

Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are clean, organised and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and safety

n

Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new pastry and dessert items

n

Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages

n

What we're looking for

n

Previous experience as a Pastry cook, preferably in a café, restaurant or hotel

n

Solid practical skills in preparing, baking and presenting a variety of patisserie, desserts and baked goods

n

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and presentation standards

n





Passion for food and a commitment to using high-quality, fresh ingredients

n

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work calmly under pressure

n

Good communication and teamwork skills

n

Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)
