Job Description
Mater is seeking a Credentialing Officer to join our Clinical Governance team in a maximum term, part-time (0.8 FTE / 32 hours per week) position for five months, based at our South Brisbane campus, commencing as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the safe delivery of healthcare by coordinating credentialing processes for medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health practitioners. Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you'll help ensure practitioners meet regulatory and organisational requirements while contributing to high-quality clinical governance across Mater.

Salary range: $46.96 - $51.73 per hourplus superannuationandaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!

What you'll be doing
n
As a key member of the Clinical Governance team, you'll coordinate credentialing activities while ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards. You will:
n
n
- Coordinate end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing processes for health practitioners
n
- Review applications to ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with credentialing requirements
n
- Liaise with applicants, peer reviewers and key stakeholders to facilitate timely processing of applications
n
- Maintain accurate practitioner records, profiles and scope of practice within the credentialing system
n
- Prepare reports and supporting documentation for Credentialing and Medical Advisory Committees
n
- Provide secretariat support, including preparing agendas, distributing papers and recording meeting minutes
n
- Assist with audits, reporting, system improvements and ongoing compliance activities
n
- Provide advice and support regarding credentialing processes, policies and standards
n

About you
n
You'll be an organised and detail-oriented administration professional who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and managing complex processes with accuracy and professionalism. You will bring:
n
n
- Demonstrated experience in administration, ideally within healthcare, clinical governance or credentialing
n
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
n
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidential information
n
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team environment
n
- Knowledge of healthcare credentialing, medical administration or relevant regulatory standards will be highly regarded
n
