About the role

n

We are seeking an experienced Parts Manager to join our team in Albion, QLD.

n

This is a full time position that plays a critical role in our automotive operations.

n

As Parts Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our parts inventory, procurement, and distribution to support our service operations and customer needs.

n

This position is essential to ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction, directly impacting the profitability and reputation of the business.

n

Key responsibilities

n

- Manage and oversee all automotive parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, storage and organisation of parts
n
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parts suppliers and distributors to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing
n
- Monitor stock levels and implement effective inventory control systems to minimise wastage and maximise availability
n
- Process purchase orders and manage supplier accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures
n
- Maintain detailed records of all parts transactions, inventory movements and stock reconciliations
n
- Liaise with service technicians and workshop staff to understand parts requirements and provide technical support
n
- Identify opportunities to improve parts availability, reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency
n
- Ensure compliance with all relevant automotive industry standards and company policies
n




- Provide exceptional customer service when handling parts enquiries and orders
n
- Train and support team members involved in parts management activities
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar automotive parts management role
n
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, components and their applications, particularly in the EV or modern vehicle sector
n
- Proficiency in parts management systems and inventory control software
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
n
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships
n
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and inventory management
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
n
- Sound understanding of automotive industry practices and standards
n
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
n
- Preferably, experience with XPENG vehicles or Chinese automotive brands would be advantageous
n
- Current driver's licence and willingness to occasionally visit supplier locations
n
