Our Melbourne clinic is growing, and we're looking for a warm, capable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team and support our clinicians in delivering exceptional surgical and restorative care.

The Role

n

This is a full time position based at our Ringwood clinic. You'll work chair side alongside our dentists and surgical team, playing a key role in patient care from consultation through to implant placement and follow-up.

Day to day, you'll:

- Provide skilled chair side assistance during implant surgery and restorative procedures
n




- Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field, including instrument set-up and turnover between patients
n
- Manage infection control, sterilisation and stock in line with practice and regulatory standards
n

- Welcome and reassure patients, explaining what to expect and supporting them before, during and after treatment
n
- Maintain accurate clinical records in our practice management system (Core Practice)
n
- Help keep the surgery running smoothly and on schedule
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent experience)
n
- Previous chair side experience — surgical or implant assisting experience highly regarded, though we're happy to train the right person
n
- Strong understanding of infection control and sterilisation protocols
n

- A calm, caring manner with patients and a genuine focus on their comfort
n
- Excellent attention to detail, reliability and a team-first attitude
n
- Confident with practice management software (Core Practice experience a plus)
n
