About the Role

n

We are seeking a full-time Retail Manager to provide professional leadership for the

n

effective and effective management of restaurant operations. The Retail Manager is

n

responsible for achieving specific operational performance targets, including reducing

n

delivery times, increasing local sales, and improving "Voice of Customer" scores, while

n

managing a diverse team and ensuring full compliance with brand and operational

n

standards.

n

The role requires strong organisational capability, leadership skills, and the ability to

n

manage daily operations within a fast-paced QSR environment.

Key Responsibilities

n

Store Management & Coordination

n

n
- Directly manage and coordinate a diverse team of approximately 14 staff members,
n
- including Shift Runners, Pizza Makers, and Drivers.
n
- Use independent judgment and problem-solving on a day-to-day basis regarding
n
- staffing and operational matters.
n
- Monitor and optimise restaurant "make times" and delivery logistics to meet strict
n
- speed targets.
n




- Implement strategies to improve "Voice of Customer" feedback and resolve
n
- customer concerns promptly.
n
- Oversee daily inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering to maintain
n
- freshness and minimise wastage.
n
- Apply brand criteria and operational procedures to ensure consistent quality in line
n
- with company standards.
n
- Undertake screening, assessment, and training for all new staff members to ensure
n
- high performance.
n
- Provide one-to-one support and mentoring for Shift Runners to ensure they
n
- successfully achieve operational goals.
n
- Manage staff rosters to balance labour costs with peak-hour demand while
n
- Supervise and support direct reports comprising 5 Shift Runners, 2 Pizza Makers, and
n
- 7 Drivers.
n
- Promote a positive, productive, and team-oriented workplace culture.
n
- Monitor daily and weekly sales data to identify opportunities for growth within the
n
- local Forest Lake market.
n
- Oversee store-level operational costs and labour budgets to support profitability and
n
- operational efficiency.
n
- Ensure all food safety protocols, temperature logs, and hygiene standards meet both
n
- legislative and brand requirements.
n
- Provide regular operational reporting to the Director regarding store progress and
n
- performance metrics.
n

The Ideal Candidate

n

Knowledge & Skills

n

n
- At least 12 months of relevant experience in a Retail Management or QSR leadership
n
- role.
n
- Proven ability to build and maintain a positive and progressive team culture.
n
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage operational bottlenecks
n
- during peak periods.
n
- Sound verbal communication skills appropriate for consulting with a diverse team of
n
- temporary residents and citizens.
n
- High level of computer literacy, including POS systems, database environments, and
n
- Microsoft Office applications.
n
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
