The RoleAn opportunity has become available for a Medical Laboratory Manager (Stem Cell Transplant Program) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-solid team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willApply specialist level clinical knowledge and skills to lead the delivery of Stem Cell Transplant laboratory servicesDevelop, manage and maintain integrated policies and standard operating proceduresProvide strategic advice and professional leadershipUtilise high level knowledge and skills to perform complex laboratory proceduresAbout youTo be successful in this position you will require:Tertiary degree in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent)Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)BenefitsFlexible work optionsCareer DevelopmentSalary PackagingModern FacilitiesDiverse Work CultureResearch Opportunities12.75% super17.5% leave loadingSalaryTemporary full-time (up to six months,
