Join Our Team

Due to a strong and growing pipeline of major infrastructure projects, we are seeking multiple qualified and experienced Carpenters to join our expanding Switchrooms Division.

n

This is an opportunity to apply your trade skills in a specialized environment,



constructing and fitting out prefabricated switchrooms that support critical infrastructure projects across Australia.

You'll work alongside a knowledgeable and experienced team that values quality workmanship, safety, collaboration and continuous improvement.

About the Role

n

As a Carpenter within our Switchrooms Division, you will play a key role in the construction and fit-out of prefabricated switchrooms.

n

Your work will include installing flooring systems, wall framing, fire-rated walls and ceilings, doors, cladding and other building components that form part of completed switchroom projects destined for major infrastructure, industrial and commercial applications.

n

Working from technical drawings and specifications, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship while contributing to an efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct and fit out prefabricated switchrooms to engineering and construction specifications.
n

- Install flooring systems, wall framing, doors, door hardware and internal fit-out components.
n

nn
- Install and finish fire-rated plasterboard systems to required standards.
n

nn
- Install external cladding and associated building products.
n

nn
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and technical documentation.
n

nn
- Measure, cut,



shape and assemble materials accurately and efficiently.
n

nn
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
n

nn
- Work collaboratively with electricians, fabricators and production teams to meet project schedules.
n

nn
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
n

nn
- Comply with all company quality, safety and WHS requirements.
n

About You

n

n
- Qualified Carpenter, or extensive commercial, industrial or construction industry experience.
n

nn
- Proven experience in carpentry and building construction.
n

nn
- Experience with commercial, industrial, modular or prefabricated construction will be highly regarded.
n

- Experience installing fire-rated systems, external cladding and commercial doors will be highly regarded.
n

nn
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
n

- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
n

nn
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work effectively within a team environment.
n

- Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
