About The Role

n

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated staff experienced in food services to bring joy to our resident's day. As a Food Services Assistant your focus will be to deliver catering needs that meet nutritional and hydration needs,



special requirements and preferences of our residents.

n

Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be:

n

n
- Performing basic food preparation tasks and cooking basic meals.
n
- Preparing, presenting and serving / deliver food and refreshments, ensuring awareness of special needs for modified diets
n
- Plating and presenting food in an appealing manner and to a high-quality visual standard according to individual requirements
n

n

Requirements

n

n
- Food Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or progression towards the completion of a Food Safety Certificate
n
- Previous experience working in a food services environment and/or at an aged care facility
n
- Patience; common sense and a strong ethos of client service
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to work within a team and to work with minimum supervision
n

n

The successful incumbents will need to be available to work across a variety of shifts & days.
