What You'll Be Doing
n
As an Early Childhood Teacher at TLC, you will:
n
n
- Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, play-based learning programs tailored to the interests, strengths and needs of your chosen age group.
n
- Create inspiring learning environments that encourage curiosity, creativity, independence and exploration.
n
- Support children's physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive development through responsive and individualised teaching.
n
- Build genuine relationships with children and ensure their voices, ideas and choices are heard, respected and reflected within the program.
n
- Maintain a high level of child safety and child protection knowledge, and actively embed the Child Safe Standards throughout your daily practice.
n
- Maintain accurate observations, assessments, planning records and documentation.
n
- Work collaboratively with families, educators, leadership and the wider community.
n
- Model high-quality practice in accordance with the National Law, National Regulations, National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework.
n
- Participate in paid professional development, staff training and ongoing child safety learning.
n
- Contribute your own strengths, interests and ideas to the continued growth of our service.
n

What We're Looking For
n
We would love to hear from you if you have:
n
n
- An approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification, or are working towards an approved qualification.
n
- A strong commitment to child safety and the wellbeing of every child.
n
- A genuine passion for early childhood education.
n
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0 and National Quality Standard.
n
- An understanding of the National Law and Regulations.
n
- Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
n
- Confidence building respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
n
- A current Working With Children Check.
n
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
n
- Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude.
n
- A willingness to reflect, learn, grow and contribute new ideas.
n
