We are currently looking for a motivated Junior / Graduate Draftsperson to join our collaborative team in Unanderra, NSW (Wollongong region).

This is a full-time, office-based role where you will receive extensive on-the-job training on the specialized software and design methodologies we utilize.

The Opportunity & Salary

n

Position: Junior / Graduate Draftsperson

n

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum + Superannuation (dependent on experience)

n

Location: Unanderra, NSW (Wollongong) - Must be local or genuinely willing to relocate.

n

Training: Comprehensive on-the-job software and systems training provided.

n

Key Requirements (Must-Haves)

n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

n

Citizenship: Must be an Australian Citizen (minimum requirement).

n

Security Clearance: Hold a current, active Australian Defence Baseline Clearance (or heavily preferred/sharply prioritized).

n

Experience:



A minimum of 1 to 2 years of practical engineering drafting experience.

n

Relocation: Must be living locally or completely willing to relocate to the Wollongong/Unanderra region.

What You'll Bring

A qualification in engineering drafting, engineering design, or a related technical discipline.

n

Basic proficiency in standard CAD/drafting software platforms.

n

An ability to interpret basic technical drawings, layouts, and sketches.

n

Engineering Curiosity: A strong willingness to learn new software platforms on the job.

Solid communication skills and a practical, proactive mindset to work alongside multi-disciplinary engineers.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Producing and updating accurate technical drawings, general arrangements, and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.

n

Learning and mastering new, cutting-edge industrial design and structural software platforms through our structured on-the-job training program.

n

Collaborating with clients, engineers, and project designers to deliver high-quality project outcomes on time.

n

Ensuring all drafting work aligns with project scopes, guidelines, and Australian Standards.
