The role

n

We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP function — including a small team of 2–3 Bookkeepers — from transaction processing through to payment runs, supplier reconciliations, and weekly payroll support. You'll be the person keeping AP accurate, on time, and under control.

Day to day, you'll:

n

- Lead and coordinate a small team of 2–3 Bookkeepers, allocating workload across the function;
n
- Process and manage AP transactions, matched to purchase orders and delivery records;
n
- Run AP close-off and month-end activities to the finance close calendar;
n
- Reconcile supplier statements monthly and chase discrepancies to resolution;
n
- Prepare and process accurate,



on-time AP payment runs;
n
- Support bank reconciliation queries and investigations;
n
- Set up and prepare weekly payroll data ahead of deadlines;
n
- Be the first point of contact for suppliers and internal teams on AP queries.

About you

- Experience in accounts payable or broader finance support;
n
- Sharp attention to detail — you catch the mismatched invoice before it's a problem;
n
- Strong time management — deadlines don't slip on your watch;
n
- A clear, confident communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholders;
n
- Experience leading or coordinating a small team, or clear readiness to step into that responsibility;
n
- Bonus points for payroll experience or NetSuite (or similar ERP) exposure.
