Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer supplying high-quality steel products and solutions across a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking two experienced Brake Press Operators to join their production team in Dandenong South.

We currently have two positions available:

Day Shift

n

Afternoon Shift

n

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking long-term employment with a well-established manufacturing business. Successful applicants will commence on a casual basis with the opportunity to transition to a permanent full-time position after six months.

Key Responsibilities

n

n




- Set up and operate CNC brake press machinery to bend and form sheet metal components.
n
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
n
- Select the correct tooling and adjust machine settings for various production requirements.
n
- Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.
n
- Safely handle raw materials and finished products.
n
- Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
n
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily manufacturing targets.
n
- Follow all Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience operating CNC brake press machinery is essential.
n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
n
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
n
- Excellent measuring and problem-solving skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
n
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
n
- Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
n
- Full Australian working rights.
n
