Anthem is a leading live events marketing agency, working with Australian and international clients across the cultural and live events sector. We deliver expert advisory and marketing services for a diverse range of projects, from large-scale productions to festivals and cultural experiences, creating impactful campaigns that connect audiences with unforgettable events.

We're now looking for a People & Culture Manager to join our team on a part time basis (3 days per week). This is a hands-on, senior generalist role, ideal for someone who enjoys being embedded in the day-to-day life of the business, owning core HR processes, supporting leaders with performance and people matters, and ensuring our office runs smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

People & Culture Ownership
n
n
- Act as the primary point of contact for all People & Culture matters across the business.
n
- Own the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employment contracts, onboarding, probation, performance and development support, and offboarding.
n
- Provide practical advice and guidance to managers and employees on day-to-day people matters.
n
n
Performance Support & Review Cycle
n
n
- Own and manage the performance review and development cycle, including timelines, documentation, and communications.
n
- Support managers with goal setting, feedback conversations, and early intervention on performance issues.
n
- Help embed a culture of regular feedback, development, and accountability aligned with Anthem's values.
n

HR Compliance & Processes
n
n
- Ensure HR practices align with employment legislation and group frameworks.
n
- Maintain and update HR policies, templates, and people processes.
n
- Coordinate workplace health and safety requirements and maintain accurate HR records and systems.
n
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and team events.
n
- Help bring Anthem's values to through everyday people practices and internal communications.
n
- Take ownership for the physical office space, owning day to day office management responsibilities including supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.

About You
n
n
- 4–6 years' experience in a generalist HR / People & Culture role, ideally within a small, creative, or fast‐paced business.
n
- Proven experience owning performance review and development processes.
n
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
n
- Comfortable operating autonomously, with judgement to escalated complex matters when required.
n
- Practical, people‐first, and solutions‐focused.
n
- Confident supporting managers with performance and people conversations.
n
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in a part‐time role.
n
- Approachable, trustworthy, and comfortable being the go‐to person for both HR and office matters.
n
- Passion for live events, culture, or the creative industries.
n
