Community Occupational Therapist & Physiotherapist: Aged Care

McArthur is partnering with leading not-for-profit providers to recruit experienced Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists for permanent positions. Based in Mildura, with occasional travel to Swan Hill, this role suits clinicians passionate about making a meaningful difference in community and hospital aged care settings.

You will work autonomously with older clients in their own homes, delivering secure, high-quality, person-centred care that supports independence and wellbeing.

The Role

n

n
- Deliver goal-directed, reablement-focused care to clients referred through My Aged Care
n
- Conduct home-based clinical assessments
n
- Attend a community centre to work with and supervise allied health staff
n
- Develop, review and implement care plans
n
- Assess for home modifications and assistive equipment
n
- Collaborate with clients, families, Team Leaders, Allied Health Assistants and PCAs
n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation

About You

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
n
- AHPRA registration
n
- Demonstrated experience working with older adults, including dementia care
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills
n
- Ability to manage an independent caseload
n
- Availability for full-time hours (Monday to Friday)
n
- Knowledge of STRC, Post Acute Care and Transitional Care
n
- Understanding of CHSP and NDIS funding and referrals
n
