We're looking for a driven, results-focused Used Car Sales Manager to lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing sales team at our Ferntree Gully dealership. About the Role

n

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll play a hands-on leadership role, combining your own sales performance with coaching and mentoring the sales team to maximise every opportunity.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Leading by example to achieve individual and team sales targets
n
- Coaching and mentoring sales consultants to improve performance and close more deals
n




- Working alongside the team to overcome objections and secure sales
n
- Reviewing daily sales activity and identifying opportunities for growth
n
- Ensuring all CRM leads and customer enquiries are followed up promptly and professionally
n
- Becoming the key decision-maker in "saving the deal" before customers leave the dealership
n
- Supporting the dealership's growth strategy and delivering exceptional customer experiences
n

About You

n

You are a motivated sales leader who enjoys being on the showroom floor, working closely with your team and leading from the front.

n

- Proven ability to drive sales performance and motivate others

- Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
n
- Strong coaching, leadership and mentoring abilities
n
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
n
- High levels of professionalism and personal presentation
n
- A positive, proactive "can-do" attitude
n
- Strong computer and CRM skills
n
- A current driver's licence
n
- Previous experience in automotive sales leadership (highly regarded, but not essential)
