n Holiday Inn Express Macquarie Park is looking for a motivated and hands-on Duty Manager to drive daily operations, deliver memorable guest experiences, and support our amazing team.

n

About the Role
n As Duty Manager, you'll be at the heart of hotel operations, managing daily activities, supporting team performance, and ensuring exceptional guest service. You'll help maximise profitability, maintain compliance, and create a positive, high-performing workplace. This role also includes flexibility to support other properties as needed, including interstate travel when required.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and guest-focused experience
n
- Drive revenue through smart use of systems and ensure compliance with audit and cash handling procedures
n
- Support and coach team members, helping them grow and perform at their best
n
- Manage ordering, inventory control, and stock-related processes aligned with business needs
n
- Maintain high standards across cleanliness, safety,



and brand presentation
n
- Lead by example in delivering on our Service Style: Be Ready, Be Engaging, Be On It
n
- Handle guest feedback and complaints effectively, with timely follow-up and resolution
n
- Coordinate and communicate with all departments to ensure service excellence
n
- Promote a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues, and contractors
n
- Contribute to recruitment, performance reviews, and team recognition programs
n
- Maintain accurate records in line with hotel policies and ensure proper shift handovers
n
- Be prepared to assist other hotels within the group as required
n

What We're Looking For

n
- Experience in hotel operations or hospitality leadership
n
- Solid people leadership, coaching, and communication skills
n
- Confident in handling guest concerns and operational challenges
n
- Knowledge of rostering, cost control, and ordering systems
n
- Familiarity with WH&S; policies, emergency procedures, and compliance standards
n
- Ability to work across shifts, including weekends and public holidays
n
- A positive, solutions-focused attitude and commitment to brand values
