About your current role

We're looking for an experiencedRoasting Assistantto join our Melbourne roasting team on a6 Month Fixed Term Contractto support in delivering consistent, high-quality coffee that meets Allpress Espresso's production requirements.

n

Working closely with the Roasting Lead, the Roasting Assistant plays a hands-on role across the roastery - supporting everything from roasting and production through to packing. It's a great opportunity to build your skills, further your craft in roasting, and grow your product knowledge as part of a team that takes pride in consistently great coffee.

A day in the life

- Support roasting and production to deliver coffee we're proud of
n
- Help keep things moving by meeting production targets and maintaining quality standards
n
- Take care of the roastery through day-to-day upkeep and equipment care
n
- Assist with packing and preparing orders ready for our customers
n
- Pitch in with stock and help keep the space organised and running smoothly
n
- Work closely with the team to keep everything flowing and support each other day to day
n

About you

n

Ideally, you'll come from a roasting background and have an interest in specialty coffee. You'll be someone who:

n

n
- Has previous knowledge and experience of roasting coffee
n




- Has strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and consistency
n
- Is confident working to processes and production schedules in a fast-paced environment
n
- Brings a positive, collaborative approach and clear communication skills
n

A forklift licence is a bonus.
