About the role

Authentic Thai Touch is seeking an experienced and passionate Massage Therapist to join our growing team in Greenbank, QLD. This is a full-time position offering you the opportunity to deliver exceptional therapeutic massage services in a welcoming, professional environment. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality treatments that promote the health and wellbeing of our diverse clientele. You will work on-site at our Greenbank location, contributing to our reputation as a trusted provider of authentic natural therapies and alternative medicine services.

What you'll be doing

n

Providing professional massage therapy treatments including Thai massage, deep tissue massage, and other therapeutic techniques to clients with varying needs and conditions

n

Conducting thorough consultations with clients to understand their health concerns, medical history, and treatment goals

n

Developing personalised treatment plans tailored to individual client needs and preferences

n

Maintaining detailed client records and progress notes in accordance with professional standards and privacy regulations

n

Ensuring the massage treatment room is clean, organised, and properly equipped with all necessary supplies and linens

n

Adhering to professional standards of hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols

n

Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and client satisfaction

n





Communicating effectively with clients regarding their treatment experience and providing advice on self-care and lifestyle recommendations

n

Working collaboratively with other therapists and staff members to provide an integrated and supportive service environment

n

Contributing to a positive workplace culture and assisting with general administrative duties as required

n

What we're looking for

n

Current accreditation and qualification in massage therapy from a recognised training institution or regulatory body

n

Demonstrated experience working as a massage therapist, preferably with experience in Thai massage or other natural therapy modalities

n

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the therapeutic benefits of various massage techniques

n

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients

n

Physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual tasks throughout the working day

n

A commitment to maintaining skilled boundaries and confidentiality with all client information

n

Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

n

Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage

n

A genuine passion for natural therapies and promoting client wellbeing

n

Reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to client care

n

Experience in a busy clinic or wellness centre environment is highly desirable
