We are seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead the team at Beehive Hotel and oversee the successful day-to-day operations of our vibrant pub.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead the team at Beehive Hotel and oversee the successful day-to-day operations of our vibrant pub.

n

As Venue Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving venue performance, and fostering a positive and engaging culture for both our team and customers. You will bring strong leadership, commercial insight, and a genuine passion for hospitality to ensure Beehive Hotel continues to thrive as a welcoming destination for the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, inspire, and develop the venue team to deliver outstanding service and hospitality
n
- Oversee daily operations across food, beverage and functions (where applicable)
n
- Maintain high standards of customer experience, venue presentation, and operational excellence
n
- Manage rostering, labour costs, stock control, and financial performance
n




- Drive revenue growth through effective sales initiatives, promotions, and community engagement
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and team members
n
- Recruit, train, coach, and retain a high-performing hospitality team
n
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, health and safety requirements, and company policies
n
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support the ongoing growth of the venue
n

About You:

n

- Previous experience as a Venue Manager, Assistant Venue Manager, or senior hospitality leader within a pub or similar environment
n
- Strong understanding of venue operations, food and beverage service, and hospitality management
n
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
n
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
n
- Commercially focused with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and operational targets
n
- Passionate about creating memorable customer experiences and building a strong team culture
n
- Confident in engaging with the local community and driving venue success
n
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
n
