Forum Recruitment is proud to partner with this privately owned Australian company, who are the developer, owner and manager of a premium national portfolio with a key focus on large-format retail. You will be joining a dynamic team performing the duties of a property manager, with the title of Asset Manager, VIC.

About the role

n

As the Asset Manager, you will be responsible for driving asset strategies to minimise risk, reduce costs and maximise the performance across 8 assets located in Victoria.

n

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Day-to-day property management of the portfolio
n
- Form trusted relationships with tenants and stakeholders
n
- Manage arrears and prepare financial reports
n
- Negotiate lease renewals with existing tenants
n
- Drive asset strategies and plans across the portfolio
n
- Make recommendations that provide value add and optimisation
n




- Identify and minimise risk to the portfolio
n
- Maximise property and income returns through cost‐saving initiatives
n

About you

n

n
- 5+ years' experience in commercial property management.
n
- Demonstrated experience across all property management tasks.
n
- Confidence and ability to negotiate successful lease renewals.
n
- Solid financial acumen with experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
n
- Knowledge of the Retail Leases Act (VIC) and understanding of leasing, valuations and compliance principles.
n
- Proficiency in property management systems, preferably Yardi, and Microsoft Office.
