Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Production Leading Hand to support daily operations within a fast-paced food production and distribution. This role will suit candidates with previous experience working in a cold storage or temperature-controlled workplace, where temperatures are typically maintained at around 5°C.

About the Role
n You will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities, supporting team members on the floor, and ensuring all operations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Lead and support production and planning teams members during daily operations.
n
- Ensure production schedules and daily targets are achieved.
n
- Support with supplier management and stock management processes
n
- Coordinate and oversee production line activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
n
- Identify and resolve any operational issues where required.

- Support training, coaching, and development of team members.
n
- Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
n
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational performance.
n
- Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies

- Strong leadership and communication abilities

- Previous experience in warehousing, production or processing environments
