About the role:

n

The Test Case Manager is a critical quality assurance role responsible for establishing and maintaining the test strategy and test case framework for API-based solutions within the program

n

This role serves as the quality gatekeeper, ensuring all APIs meet functional, performance, security, and integration requirements before release

n

The Test Case Manager will work cross-functionally across development, Microsoft team, SAP teams, business analysts, and program management to translate business requirements into comprehensive, executable test cases

n

Experience Required:

n

n
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test case documentation for API endpoints, including request/response validation, error handling, and edge cases
n
- Design test scenarios covering functional, performance, security, and integration testing across RESTful and SOAP APIs
n
- Collaborate with development teams to understand API specifications, data models, and businessrequirements for SAP and Microsoft API solutions
n
- Create and manage test case repositories, ensuring version control and traceability across the program
n
- Execute test cases across multiple environments (development, staging, production) and document results with clear pass/fail criteria
n
- Identify, log, and track defects with detailed steps to reproduce, severity levels, and impact analysis
n
- Validate API integration points between Microsoft APIs and SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, etc.)
n
- Perform regression testing for API changes and SAP configuration updates
n
- Coordinate with automation engineers to develop automated test scripts for API test cases
n
- Prepare test metrics, coverage reports,



and quality dashboards for program stakeholders
n
- Participate in requirement review sessions to ensure testability and completeness of API specifications
n
- Support UAT activities by providing test cases, test data, and defect documentation
n
- Ensure API test cases comply with security standards, data privacy regulations, and API gateway requirements
n
- Manage test data requirements and coordinate with database/SAP basis teams for test environment setup
n

The Successful Candidate

n

n
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, JMeter, etc.)
n
- Proficiency in API testing methodologies including functional, performance, load, and security testing
n
- Understanding of REST and SOAP architecture, HTTP protocols, request/response structures, and authentication mechanisms
n
- Experience with JSON and XML payload validation
n
- Working knowledge of SAP modules and SAP integration scenarios
n
- Test case documentation and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, HP ALM, Azure DevOps)
n
- SQL skills for database query validation and test data verification
n
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and API deployment processes
n
- Experience with API security testing and understanding of OAuth, JWT, API keys, and SSL/TLS
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
n
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
n
- Experience with defect tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla)
n
- Knowledge of API gateway concepts and API versioning strategies
n
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
n
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API-first development approaches
n

Location and Contract Term

n

This role is based in Sydney, NSW or Melbourne, VIC

n

Contract until December 2026 with likely extensions.

n

Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.
