Implementation Capability Lead

Location: Sydney CBD, hybrid

n

Lead and develop a team of approximately 15-20 Implementation Consultants within a growing enterprise SaaS business. This is a capability leadership role focused on people, delivery standards and commercial performance. It is not a hands-on technical lead or project Delivery Manager position.

The role: You will lead the Implementation Consultant function and improve how customer implementations are delivered across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading, coaching and performance managing the consulting team
n
- Developing senior consultants, team leads and emerging managers
n
- Improving delivery standards, governance and ways of working
n
- Managing utilisation, forecasting, capacity and team performance
n
- Reducing rework and improving delivery quality and consistency
n
- Supporting Delivery Managers across multiple customer engagements
n
- Building adoption for new operating models, tools and processes
n
- Improving commercial, customer and operational outcomes
n

Your background: You will have:

n

n
- Formal leadership experience across consulting, implementation, professional services or customer delivery
n
- Experience managing a sizeable team, ideally 15 or more people
n
- Evidence of building or materially improving a delivery capability
n
- Introduced operating models, governance or delivery frameworks that were adopted across teams
n
- Commercial delivery experience covering utilisation, forecasting, capacity or portfolio performance
n
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent external customer implementations
n
- Strong senior stakeholder and change leadership skills
n
- A background in SaaS, software implementation or configurable platforms
n

Technical implementation experience is helpful, but deep configuration or coding experience is not required. The priority is proven people leadership, capability transformation and commercial delivery maturity.
