Located at our head office in Abbotsford, we are seeking a full time Accountant who will play a pivotal role in our financial operations.

Role Overview

n

This role is ideal for someone with a solid accounting foundation and advanced data analysis capabilities. You will work closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts, manage month-end and year-end processes, ensure statutory compliance, and support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities

n

Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts.

n

Prepare and post journals, accruals, and adjustments.

n

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

n

Prepare BAS, GST, FBT, and other statutory compliance requirements.

n





Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor cash management.

n

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

n

Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to management.

n

Assist with external and internal audits by preparing supporting documentation.

n

Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.

n

Assist with ERP/accounting system maintenance and process improvements.

n

Support ad hoc financial projects and business initiatives.

n

Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with company policies and deadlines.

Ideal Candidate Profile

n

At least one year post-qualification experience in accounting, finance, or audit

n

Analytical mindset with the ability to handle complex data sets and derive insights

n

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

n

Excellent English language skills are required
