Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Project Management

I'm working with a well-established geotechnical and environmental consultancy that has built an excellent reputation delivering investigation, testing and design services across major infrastructure, transport, building and land development projects throughout NSW.

n

With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist to join their Sydney team.

n

The Role...

n

This is a senior position focused on project leadership, technical oversight and client management. You'll take ownership of multiple projects, guide technical delivery and mentor junior engineers while working alongside a highly experienced team.

n

Projects range from local developments through to large-scale transport and infrastructure schemes, providing plenty of variety and long-term career opportunities.

n

Responsibilities include:

n

n
- Managing geotechnical projects from proposal through to completion
n
- Reviewing and preparing interpretive geotechnical reports
n
- Managing project budgets, programmes and resources
n
- Developing fee proposals and supporting tender submissions
n
- Building and maintaining client relationships
n
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior staff
n




- Working closely with contractors, clients and project stakeholders
n

n

About You...

n

Degree qualified in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology

n

Approximately 8-12 years' geotechnical consulting experience

n

Experience delivering geotechnical investigations, design and construction projects

n

Strong report writing and project management skills

n

Commercial awareness and client-facing experience

n

Working knowledge of AS1726, AS2159, AS3798 and TfNSW R44

n

Chartered or working towards Chartership

n
