Identity Engineer- Active Directory- Financial Services

A global financial institute is currently seeking an Identity Engineer with strong Active Directory/ Microsoft Identity experience. We're looking for engineers with a strong systems background who have naturally evolved into Identity Engineering. Devops mindset is also key for this role.
n This is a hybrid position- 3 days a week in the office.
n Responsibilities:

n

- Design, build and operate the identity services around Active Directory that secure customer access to the banks platforms.
n
- Development of distributed identity and authentication services, supporting secure authentication, authorisation and API access at scale.
n
- Implement and maintain authentication and federation services using SAML, LDAP, OAuth and OpenID Connect.
n
- Write and maintain scripts and code to automate provisioning, configuration and operational tasks
n
- Collaborate closely with identity, platform and application teams to ensure systems remain secure, reliable and observable, while continuously improving engineering practices.

Key Skills / Experience

n

n
- + 5 years IAM engineer experience with a strong focus on Active Directory
n
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
n
- Azure cloud services
n
- Federation technologies including SAML
n
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and up-to-date engineering practices
n
- Web and API technologies (REST, HTTP, certificates)
n
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and SaaS technologies
n
- The ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
