About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our expanding Estimating Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow within the construction industry while being supported by a team of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Prepare accurate and detailed tenders, estimates, and full scopes of work
n
- Recommend alternative products and pricing options to meet client budgets
n
- Provide precise cost estimates and planning advice based on client specifications
n
- Use On-Center or BuildSoft Take Off software (training provided)
n
- Liaise daily with clients and suppliers to ensure clear communication and up-to-date information
n




- Keep clients informed on project quote progress
n
- Collaborate closely with senior estimators and receive full on-the-job training
n

Requirements:

n

- Estimating experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential
n
- A strong understanding of construction materials and techniques is preferred
n
- Sound cost planning skills and current knowledge of market rates
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
n
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Full working rights in Australia
