The Opportunity
n

- Full‐time Construction Surveyor based in Sydney, NSW
n
- Support a range of development and infrastructure projects across the Sydney metropolitan area
n
- Work across engineering set‐out, subdivisions, cadastral, volumetrics, 3D scanning, and UAV capture
n
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
- Engineering set‐out and control establishment for civil/structural works
n
- Detailed set‐out for footings, slabs, columns, services, pavements, and structural elements
n
- Establish, verify, and adjust site control networks
n
- Monitoring and deformation surveys
n
- As‐built surveys and accurate survey deliverables
n
- Interpret IFC drawings, engineering plans, and specifications
n
- QA checks to meet project tolerances and contractual requirements
n
- Data processing, drafting, and preparation of survey models
n
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between design and site conditions
n
- Liaise with project engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
n
- Travel to project sites across Sydney as required
n
n
Ideal Candidate Profile
n
n
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in Australian construction surveying
n
- Strong grasp of construction methodologies, tolerances, and QA
n
- Proficient with Total Stations, GNSS, AutoCAD, Magnet; data transfer and field‐to‐finish workflows
n
- 3D scanning and UAV experience (desirable)
n
- Solid understanding of Australian standards and best practice
n
- Able to work independently on site and maintain accuracy under pressure
n
- Legal right to work in Australia
n
