We're seeking a dedicated and detail‐driven Licensed Conveyancer to join our growing Active Property and Conveyancing team in Wollongong. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client‐focused environment, enjoys managing matters from start to finish, and takes pride in delivering a seamless conveyancing experience.

As a key member of our property team, you will handle a diverse range of conveyancing matters while building strong, trusted relationships with clients, agents, and other professionals.

The Role

n

This position is hands‐on, client‐facing, and central to the smooth running of our conveyancing practice. You will manage your own files while contributing to a positive, supportive team culture.

- Manage residential conveyancing matters from instruction to settlement.
n
- Prepare, review, and advise on contracts for sale and purchase.
n
- Conduct property searches, due diligence, and compliance checks.
n
- Liaise with clients, agents, brokers, solicitors, and external stakeholders.
n
- Handle PEXA settlements, transfer documents, and associated tasks.
n
- Maintain accurate file notes, timelines, and workflow management.
n
- Provide clear, timely updates to clients throughout their matter.
n
- Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure matters progress smoothly.

Client Service & Communication

- Deliver a warm, professional, and reassuring client experience.

- Explain processes and legal concepts in a clear, accessible way.
n
- Build strong relationships with repeat clients and referral partners.
n
- Support the broader team with client enquiries and general assistance.

What You Bring

n

You will excel in this role if you are:

- Current NSW Conveyancer Licence with a minimum 1-year experience in conveyancing.
n
- Confident using PEXA, or similar practice management systems.
n
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
n
- Skilled at balancing multiple matters and deadlines calmly and professionally.
n
- A strong communicator with a client‐first mindset.
n
- A collaborative team member who contributes positively to workplace culture.
