Brightminds Early Learning is looking for part time Cook/Chef to cover maternity leave (Sept 2026-Sept 2027) to work with and alongside our children.

n

Brightminds Early Learning is nestled amongst beautiful bushland in the Diamond Creek ranges (located on Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung land).

n

Our family‐owned and operated service offers a wonderful early learning experience. As the successful applicant you will be required to plan and prepare nutritious meals for our children in our commercial kitchen.

Qualifications & experience

n

n
- Cert III or industry related qualification in cooking
n
- Working With Children Check or the ability to acquire
n

n

Tasks & responsibilities

n

n
- Preparing meals for our children
n




- Undertaking quality control
n
- Keeping up to date with all health and safety requirements
n
- Stock ordering and inventory control
n
- Involve the children in mini cooking lessons
n
- Maintaining the Food Safety Program
n
- Working as part of a team that will include encouraging children to engage in a healthy manner with foods.
