Janes and Stewart Structural & Civil Consultants (JS2) is a well-respected provider of structural & civil engineering consulting services to the Central Queensland region.

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our experienced and collaborative team based in Rockhampton.

n

About the Role

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Working collaboratively within a team of experienced structural and civil engineers.
n
- Delivering civil engineering solutions from project inception through to construction completion.
n
- Undertaking a broad range of civil engineering design and documentation, including:n n
- Earthworks
n
- Access roads and parking facilities
n
- Pavement design
n
- Stormwater drainage
n
- Water and sewer infrastructure
n

n

- Assisting with development approvals and statutory authority processes.
n
- Conducting site inspections and assisting with contract administration during construction.
n
- Travelling to project sites throughout Central Queensland as required.
n




- Contributing across a diverse range of projects and supporting the wider engineering team.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
n
- Qualifications suitable to progress towards RPEQ registration.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities.
n
- The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
n
- A current Australian Driver Licence.
n
