NES Fircroft Australia is looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Brisbane team, leading and growing a contract desk focused on connecting top geology and mining talent with some of Australia's leading resource projects and operators.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Build and Manage Client Relationships – Partner with mining operators, consultancies, contractors, and resource companies delivering workforce solutions across exploration, production, and mine operations throughout Australia.
n
- Lead Full-Cycle Recruitment – Manage end-to-end contract recruitment — sourcing, interviewing, placing, and managing high-calibre candidates across geology, exploration, mining operations, and technical services roles.
n
- Drive Business Growth – Expand your portfolio by identifying new opportunities and developing relationships with key clients across Australia's mining and resources sector.
n
- Provide Market Insight – Act as a trusted advisor to clients and candidates, offering insights on talent trends, workforce planning, and the evolving mining landscape across Australia.
n




- Collaborate with a Global Team – Work closely with colleagues across Australia and the wider APAC region, sharing knowledge and delivering exceptional recruitment solutions.

What We're Looking For:

n

n
- 3+ years' experience in agency recruitment, ideally within mining, resources, engineering, or technical sectors
n
- Strong commercial mindset with experience building and managing a recruitment desk
n
- Excellent client development and candidate relationship skills
n
- A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
n
- Knowledge of the Australian mining market is beneficial, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally valued
