About the role

n

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at our Chelsea VIC location. This is a casual position offering flexible working arrangements. As Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences whilst maintaining operational excellence. You will work collaboratively with staff and management to uphold our service standards and contribute to the success of this vibrant venue.

Key responsibilities

n

Supervising and coordinating food and beverage staff during shifts to ensure efficient service delivery

n

Monitoring service quality and ensuring all team members adhere to company policies and procedures

n

Managing customer interactions and resolving any service issues or complaints professionally and promptly

n

Assisting with stock management, inventory checks, and ensuring adequate supplies are maintained

n

Supporting the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to company standards

n

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across all food and beverage areas in compliance with health and safety regulations

n

Training and coaching junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge

n





Assisting with the setup and breakdown of dining areas and function spaces

n

Supporting promotional activities and special events within the food and beverage department

n

Reporting to management on operational issues and making recommendations for service improvements

n

What we're looking for

n

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within food and beverage, hospitality, or catering environments

n

Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu knowledge, and restaurant operations

n

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage diverse guest requirements

n

Demonstrated ability to motivate, support, and provide guidance to team members

n

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

n

Sound understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

n

Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management

n

Reliability and flexibility to work casual shifts including evenings, weekends, and special events

n

Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or willingness to obtain it

n

Preferred: Experience working in RSL clubs, pubs, or similar hospitality venues
