About the Role

n

Due to continued growth within our Surface Energy Division, we are now seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to become a valued member in our drilling crews where you will understand the terms of the drilling program and liaise with your supervisor to ensure successful completion of the work. The roles are for either a 14 days on or 7 days off roster or on a 7 days on and 7 day off roster working day shift only! This role is FIFO from any major city or DIDO within an acceptable distance.

Duties

n

n




- Consistently apply sound drilling practices and techniques within your range of competence.
n
- Execute the hole plan.
n
- Drill accurately and diligently to maximise 'Bit on Bottom'.
n
- Minimise breakage and down hole loss.
n
- Carry out basic preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment and down hole equipment / BHA.
n

Experience and qualifications

n

n
- Current Australian HR License is mandatory
n
- Demonstrated experience in Diamond Coring (Coal)
n
- Desirable experience in Mud Rotary (Coal)
n
- Certificate III Drilling in Operations or greater is mandatory
n
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Standard 11 (Surface), First Aid and CPR certificate, S123 qualification and National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
