3rd/4th year apprentice plumber and drainer

Get Plumbed is seeking a dedicated 3rd/4th year apprentice plumber and drainer to join our team in Sunbury, VIC. This is a full-time position that offers you the chance to complete your plumbing apprenticeship with a reputable and growing company in the trades industry. As you progress through the final years of your apprenticeship, you will gain hands‐on experience across a diverse range of plumbing and drainage projects, working alongside skilled professionals who are committed to your development and success in the trade.

What you'll be doing

n

Assisting licensed plumbers and drainage specialists on residential, commercial and industrial plumbing projects

n

Installing, maintaining and repairing water supply systems, heating systems, and drainage installations

n

Performing excavation and drainage work, including laying pipes and conducting inspections

n

Reading and interpreting plumbing plans, blueprints and technical drawings

n

Using a variety of plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively

n

Adhering to all relevant Australian plumbing codes, standards and safety regulations

n

Assisting with testing and troubleshooting plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues

n

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of work completed

n

Supporting the team by keeping work sites clean and organised

n

What we're looking for

n

Current completion or near‐completion of your 3rd or 4th year of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship

n

Strong understanding of plumbing and drainage principles, techniques and safety protocols

n





Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to travel between job sites in the Sunbury area and surrounding regions

n

Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst also taking direction from experienced tradespeople

n

Physical fitness and capability to perform manual work in various weather conditions

n

Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detail

n

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the plumbing trade

n

Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude

n

Previous experience on plumbing or drainage projects is highly valued
