At Shine Communities, we are seeking a motivated and passionate Service Coordinator for our SIL based services to lead the planning, co-ordination and delivery of high quality community access and group based services.

About the Role

n

As the SIL Service Coordinator you will oversee the day to day co-ordination of our SIL Houses using the "Shine Way" of service delivery. As this is a billable role you will be given a SIL based caseload to manage while you are trained in the complexities of disability services and NDIS compliance.

n





You will work closely with the Service Delivery and Operations teams to:

- Coordinate and oversee SIL based support programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centred outcomes
n
- Build solid relationships with participants, families, and external stakeholders
n
- Support the ongoing growth and sustainability of Shine's SIL services
n
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to frontline staff
n
- Oversee compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement across all services
n
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline service delivery and drive department goals
n
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture
n

What You'll Bring:

n

We are looking for someone with the right clinical/practical background who is ready to learn the administrative and leadership side:

n

n
- Experience in disability support, nursing, allied health, psychology, or social work.
n
- A strong understanding of the NDIS, NIISQ and Community Aged Care framework, specifically in SIL operations.
n
- Experience in Manual Handling and ABI's
n
- Able to balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
n
- Prior experience in a senior frontline or emerging leadership role within a Community setting.
n
- Trained in the 'Assist Clients with Medication' skillset and Mental Health First Aid (Essential).
n
- A Cert IV, Diploma, or tertiary qualification in Health, Community Services, or Management (Essential).
n
- Current First Aid/CPR, Driver's License, Police Check, and an NDIS Worker Screening / Blue Card.
