Licensed Electrician - After Installation Client Support

n

REA Solar is looking for a qualified and experienced Licensed Electrician to join our growing After-Installation Client Support team.

n

This is not a solar installation role.

n

The position is focused on customer care, technical support, fault finding, system upgrades and resolving post-installation issues for clients with existing renewable energy systems.

n

It is ideally suited to an experienced electrician who has reached a stage in their career where they are looking for a more consultative, technical and customer-focused position, while still using their electrical qualifications and practical experience.

The Role

n

You will work primarily on residential and commercial sites where advanced renewable energy systems have already been installed.

n

Your work will include:

n

n
- Diagnosing and resolving post-installation technical issues
n
- Servicing solar, battery storage and EV charging systems
n
- Completing system upgrades and rectification work
n
- Undertaking general electrical installations, maintenance and fault finding
n
- Communicating technical issues and solutions clearly to customers
n
- Liaising with our internal support, operations and installation teams
n




- Providing practical guidance and trade knowledge to apprentices and other team members
n
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard
n
- Accurately documenting work completed, system issues and recommended next steps
n

What You Will Need

n

Essential requirements:

n

n
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence
n
- Current Australian Driver Licence
n
- Minimum three to five years of electrical experience
n
- Construction White Card
n
- Current Working at Heights Certificate
n
- Current CPR and Low Voltage Rescue certification
n
- Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
- High standard of customer service and communication
n
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
n
- Professional presentation and conduct
n
- Reliable work ethic and the ability to work independently
n
- Willingness to learn new systems and technologies
n

n

Highly Regarded but Not Essential

n

- Solar Accreditation Australia accreditation
n
- Previous CEC accreditation
n
- Experience with solar PV systems
n
- Experience with battery storage systems
n
- Experience with EV chargers
n
- Experience in technical support,

- Experience using job management or customer relationship management systems
