Role Details
n Perilya is seeking an experienced Charge Up Operator to join our underground mining team in Broken Hill. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a long-standing operation that values safety, teamwork, and career development.

As a Charge Up Operator, you will be responsible for carrying out underground charge-up activities in accordance with statutory requirements and site procedures to ensure secure and efficient blasting operations.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Conduct charging, blasting,



and handling of explosives in line with site standards and legislative requirements

n

Safely transport, prepare, and use explosives underground

n

Maintain accurate records of explosives usage and blasting activities

n

Work collaboratively with the shift team to achieve production targets

n

Ensure compliance with all site safety policies and procedures

n

What You Will Bring

Demonstrated underground charge-up experience in metalliferous mining

n

Sound understanding of underground mine safety regulations and procedures

n

Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

n

Ability to work a rostered shift pattern
