Main duties will include:

n

- Carrying out trailer and truck inspections, timely repairs and major services
n
- Minor electrical repairs
n
- The secure use of hand power tools to complete tasks
n
- Some heavy lifting involved
n
- Assist in other workshop tasks and duties, including the maintenance and servicing of the linehaul prime mover fleet
n

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

n
- Technical understanding in all aspects of heavy vehicle and trailer mechanics
n
- Ability to look outside the square
n
- Reliable and punctual
n
- Attention to detail
n
- Be a team player
n
- Sound knowledge of semi-trailer servicing and mechanical repairs to semi-trailers
n
- Heavy vehicle licence would be held in high regard, but not mandatory
n

On-the-job training will be provided as necessary and salary will be negotiated dependent on experience and trade qualifications at the time of the interview.

These are full-time day shift positions, however the option to transfer onto afternoon shift will be available once the shift is established.
