We are looking for Teacher Aides who can work within our Secondary school to assist teachers and students in reaching their educational goals. This is a casual position during term-time only.

This position is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people.As a Teacher Aide you are part of a professional team of educators that have a passion for teaching young people. You have excellent communication skills, are team-orientated, show a willingness to embrace the challenges of a changing educational context and are reliable, trustworthy, and ethical.While it would be an advantage to have experience in a similar position, just as key is a genuine love for working with children to support them in their studies.

In addition, you will have:

- Strength, patience and enthusiasm in working with Secondary-aged students and the ability to work independently and follow the directions of the classroom teacher.

- An understanding of the social and emotional supports necessary for supporting students in their studies.
n
- A willingness to support the overall goals of the educational team and work cohesively to supportstudents.
n
- Well-developed communication skills, to work smoothly with students and theirteachers.
n

Applicants must have a practicing Christian faith and be actively involved in a church.
