About the Role
n
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of HR services across the firm, ensuring an exceptional employee experience from recruitment through to offboarding.
n
You will work closely with partners,
managers and employees to provide practical HR support while contributing to strategic people initiatives.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
n
Manage end-to-end recruitment across all business areas.
n
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and sourcing strategies.
n
Coordinate interviews, candidate engagement and employment offers.
n
Develop and maintain talent pipelines for future workforce needs.
n
Graduate & Work Experience Programs
n
Coordinate and manage the firm's Law Graduate Program.
n
Build relationships with universities and relevant industry bodies.
n
Oversee seasonal clerkships, internships and work experience placements.
n
Ensure a positive candidate and participant experience throughout all programs.
n
Employee Lifecycle Management
n
Facilitate comprehensive onboarding and induction programs.
n
Manage probation reviews and employee documentation.
n
Coordinate employee departures, including exit interviews and offboarding processes.
n
Ensure all employee records are accurate, compliant and current.
n
Remuneration & Salary Benchmarking
n
Manage salary benchmarking and market surveys.
n
Analyse compensation data and provide recommendations to support attraction and retention strategies.
n
Support annual remuneration review processes and workforce planning initiatives.
n
HR Systems & Reporting
n
Act as the key administrator for the firm's HRIS platform.
n
Maintain employee data integrity and reporting capability.
n
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through system enhancements and automation.
n
Provide meaningful HR metrics and workforce insights to leadership.
n
Employee Relations & HR Support
n
Provide advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment-related matters.
n
Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
n
Contribute to employee engagement and culture-building activities.
n
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice HR principles.
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
n
3+ years' experience in a generalist HR Advisor role, ideally within professional services, legal or consulting environments.
n
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment activities.
n
Experience coordinating graduate, intern or early careers programs.
n
Knowledge of remuneration frameworks and salary benchmarking processes.
n
Strong HRIS administration and reporting capability.
n
Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
n
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
n
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
