A well-established residential aged care home in Canberra is seeking a clinically capable and people-focused Care Manager to join its experienced leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Lead the delivery of high-quality clinical care across the home
n
- Support and mentor Registered Nurses and care staff
n
- Drive clinical governance and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Monitor resident outcomes and ensure care meets best practice standards
n
- Partner with the Facility Manager and wider leadership team to maintain compliance
n
- Build positive relationships with residents, families and allied health professionals
n
- Support accreditation readiness and quality improvement activities
n
n
About You
n
You are a collaborative, clinically capable and organised leader who enjoys supporting teams to deliver outstanding resident care.
n You will also bring:
n
n
- Previous experience as a Care Manager, Clinical Manager or senior clinical leader within residential aged care
n
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
n
- Experience leading clinical teams in residential aged care
n
- Strong understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Standards
n
- Confidence supporting clinical governance, audits and quality improvement
n
n
