A & M Civil is a family-owned civil construction company based in Fernvale. We're looking for an experienced Truck & Dog Operator to join our team, with ongoing work primarily across the Somerset Region.

About the Role

n

This is a hands-on role covering two separate tasks. As a truck and dog operator you'll cart material to and from job sites. As a float driver you'll transport plant and equipment, loading and unloading safely and efficiently — including operating a loader to load yourself. It's a role for someone who takes pride in their work and their gear.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Operating a truck and dog trailer safely and productively
n
- Float work — transporting plant and equipment to and from sites
n
- Loading and unloading plant and equipment
n
- Driving a loader to load your own truck
n




- Daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance to keep your gear in top condition
n
- Working in with the site crew to keep jobs running smoothly
n

What You'll Need

n

n
- Proven experience operating a truck and dog
n
- Experience with float work — loading and unloading plant and equipment
n
- Ability to operate a loader to load yourself
n
- Current appropriate truck licence HC/MC
n
- Strong focus on safety and reliability
n
- A good work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team
n
