The Prospect

Cube Networks is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our growing Solutions Division, working across presales, consulting, and project delivery engagements. This is a pivotal, client-facing role that blends deep technical expertise with strategic advisory — helping some of Australia's most recognised enterprises design, implement, and secure their critical network environments.

You'll work across the full lifecycle: from shaping opportunities and designing architectures to leading delivery and mentoring engineers. What You'll Do

n

- Partner with Account and Business Engagement Managers to qualify opportunities and define technical scope.
n
- Conduct discovery workshops to capture requirements and shape solution proposals.
n
- Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs), RFP/RFI responses, and solution documentation.
n
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to executives.
n

Consulting (40%)

n

n
- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, providing expert guidance across networking, security, and cloud.
n
- Design and recommend fit-for-purpose architectures aligned to client objectives.
n
- Lead strategic workshops, technology roadmaps, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
n

Project Delivery (40%)

n

n




- Lead design and implementation of multi-vendor network and security solutions.
n
- Develop high-level and detailed designs, ensuring alignment with best practices.
n
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality oversight across delivery teams.
n
- Engage with customers throughout project execution to ensure successful outcomes.
n

About You

n

You're a seasoned network or security consultant with strong technical depth and client-facing polish. You can switch comfortably between design discussions, boardroom presentations, and hands-on delivery when required.

You'll bring:

n

n
- 5–10 years' experience across Networking, Network Security, Wireless, Cybersecurity, Cloud, or Data Centre technologies.
n
- 3–5 years in a systems integrator or consulting environment.
n
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade network/security solutions.
n
- Relevant certifications highly regarded — e.g. Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto PCNSE/PSE Pro, Juniper JNCIP, or equivalent vendor credentials.
n
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable outcomes.
